2024-10-10Turkiye's Bandırma Boron Carbide Project receives PAC certificate
China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC), a subsidiary of Sinomach, has recently obtained the Provisional Acceptance Certificate (PAC) for Turkiye's Bandelmar Boron Carbide Project, marking its official start of commercial operations. As a national strategic initiative, it is Turkiye's first boron carbide production line utilizing Chinese technology, standards and equipment, drawing significant attention from the Turkish president.
The world-leading production line built by CMEC will extend Turkiye's industrial chain and boost local industrialization. After receiving the PAC, CMEC will continue to provide operational support and fulfill its remaining contract obligations.
Cameroon's Nachtigal Hydropower Station goes operational
The Nachtigal Hydropower Station, the largest in Cameroon, has recently been put into operation. Guangzhou Kinte Industrial Co, a subsidiary of Sinomach, supplied the generator excitation systems and technical solutions to the station, which is critical to its operation. The installation of seven 60 MW turbine generators will increase Cameroon's power generation capacity by 30%.
The excitation system, essential for controlling generator voltage and reactive power, ensures stable power system operations. The advanced technology provided by Guangzhou Kinte Industrial has contributed to the station's success, further promoting the application of Chinese hydropower technology in overseas markets.
