In a bid to further solidify its strong presence in Indonesia and reinforce its commitment to the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), Sinomach, one of China's leading enterprises, took an active part in the gathering. The event was honored to have Zhang Xiaolun, chairman of Sinomach and a representative of Chinese enterprises with extensive involvement in Indonesia, as a participant.

At the banquet, Zhang expressed Sinomach's unwavering commitment to active participation in the Belt and Road Initiative. The BRI, a grand vision launched by China, seeks to foster international cooperation and enhance connectivity between countries and regions along the Silk Road. Zhang noted that Sinomach's involvement in the initiative signifies its dedication to promoting economic growth and the well-being of the Indonesian people.

With years of deep involvement in Indonesia, Sinomach has successfully established itself as a trusted partner in numerous sectors, including infrastructure development, energy, and telecommunications. The company has contributed to Indonesia's economic transformation by delivering high-quality engineering projects and introducing cutting-edge technologies.

Sinomach's presence at the Indonesia-China Business Banquet provided an excellent platform to strengthen ties between the two nations and foster greater collaboration.

During his visit, Zhang also took a test ride on Southeast Asia's first high-speed railway, which connects two Indonesian cities as part of China's Belt and Road infrastructure initiative.

The $7.3 billion rail project, funded largely by China, connects Jakarta and Bandung, the heavily populated capital of West Java province. It is to begin commercial operations on October 1 and will cut travel time between the two cities from the current three hours to about 40 minutes.
